Ty’r Wennol & Y Stabl are the upper & lower floors of the old stable block. Because this was built into the hillside there are no stairs to negotiate in either of these & they each have their own entrance & garden with a different aspect. Although entirely separate we would like to encourage friends or family to use them as a pair & will offer a discount for the two units booked together.
There is parking for one car outside Y Stabl. A paved path leads from the car parking area down some steps down to the main door.
The barn has been converted with 5 star specification, by local craftsmen. It features oak & slate floors, underfloor heating, handmade fitted kitchens & original art & crafts.
Y Stabl is suitable for two/four people, having a bedroom with zip & link beds (i.e. twin or double) and a comfortable double futon sofa-bed in the living room, available for a small supplement. There is a radio alarm clock in the bedroom. The bathroom has a walk in shower and constant hot water. The bedroom has wonderful views across to the Black Mountain.
The well-equipped open plan kitchen-dining area includes a dishwasher, washer-drier, electric oven & ceramic hob, microwave, fridge, toaster and table and chairs.
The living area has a large sofa-bed and antique rocking chair & DVD/TV which also plays CDs.
Patio doors open from the living area onto a private paved garden with table and chairs and planted with herbs and cottage flowers.
We have installed multi-sensory smoke alarms for extra reassurance. We are sorry we cannot accommodate pets and the cottages are all no smoking.
The accommodation is not suitable for under 10yr olds.
