The far-reaching views from our organic farm look towards the Black Mountain and the peak of Llyn y fan. On a clear day the Brecon Beacons are clearly visible. (photo)
We are lucky enough to have a variety of habitats on the farm for birds, plants and oth er wildlife such as cinnabar moths, meadow brown butterflies, orchids, badgers, redstarts, snipe & red kites. (photo)
We would be delighted if you would make a note of any birds you see, so we can add them to our list. We have put up nest boxes around the area and retained nesting holes in the cottage stonework to encourage as many species as possible.

We have a map of the farm in each cottage and visitors are very welcome to walk anywhere apart from where hazardous activities are taking place at the time.
We have drawn a map of a walk through the bluebell wood to the small lake above the farm and the top field, with a guide of the path to take.
A Public footpath leads from the farm to Talley, with its Abbey, church and walks, and connects up with several other walks along the old drove road. It also leads onto open access land on Mynydd Cynros and the trig point above the farm.
The tiny village of Cwmdu, with its shop, Post Office and pub is about a mile away by road – less if you follow the footpath.
