Ty Cerrig is the old threshing barn. We have been careful to retain its special features & sense of spaciousness. The bedroom & bathroom are on a gallery above the open plan kitchen & living room which opens onto a terrace with wonderful views to the Brecon Beacons. There are a table and chairs on which to sit and enjoy the view from the private garden planted with herbs and cottage flowers.
The barn has been converted with 5 star specification by local craftsmen. It features oak & slate floors, under-floor heating, handmade fitted kitchens & original art & crafts.
The accommodation is suitable for two adults, having a bedroom with zip & link beds (i.e. twin or double.)There is a radio alarm clock in the bedroom. The bathroom has a walk in shower and constant hot water. The bedroom has far-reaching views of the Black mountain.
The well-equipped open plan kitchen-dining area includes a dishwasher, washer-drier, electric oven & ceramic hob, microwave, fridge, toaster and table and chairs.
The living area has a leather sofa and antique rocking chair and DVD/TV which also plays CDs.
There is parking for two cars outside Ty Cerrig and there is a level paved path to the door.
We have installed multi-sensory smoke alarms in the cottages for extra reassurance. We are sorry not to be able to accommodate pets. The cottages are all no smoking.
