In 2008 we created some scrapes in the lower meadows and on sunny days enjoy watching the colourful damsel flies, dragon flies and water boatmen that have been attracted to them. In 2010 the harsh winter froze the scapes and the snow covering them enabled us to see the tracks left by foxes and rabbits.
