Mountain View Cottages Access Statement

The two barns on our organic farm have been converted to three self-contained holiday cottages:

TY CERRIG

• There is a private parking space next to the cottage.
• From the parking space there is a flat paved path leading to the main entrance.
• There is a private paved garden with table and chairs accessed directly by patio doors from the living room.
• There are cottage flowers and herbs in the garden
• There is a gallery bedroom and bathroom above the living room and kitchen connected by a flight of stairs (14 steps)..
• All light switches at 1200mm.
• Sockets at 500mm and 1100mm.
• All doors except bathroom door are at least 800mm width and internal doors of contrasting oak.
• There is a walk in shower.
• A multi-sensory smoke alarm has been fitted in the bedroom, which has a flashing light and vibrating pad as well as the audible alarm.
• Lighting is good throughout with dimmer switches in living rooms and bedrooms.
• TV/DVD has remote control and teletext in each.
• The interiors include natural materials such as slate and oak floors and wool rugs.
• There are seasonal sounds such as lambs, birds and sometimes tractors and the sounds of a working farm.
• There is no passing traffic.

TY’R WENNOL

• There is a private parking space next to the cottage.
• From the parking space there is a flat paved path with railings each side leading to the front door.
• All rooms are on one level..
• All light switches at 1200mm.
• Sockets at 500mm and 1100mm.
• All doors are at least 800mm width and the internal doors of oak contrast with the white walls.
  
• A multi-sensory smoke alarm has been fitted in the bedroom, which has a flashing light and vibrating pad as well as the audible alarm.
• Lighting is good throughout with dimmer switches in living rooms and bedrooms.
• TV/DVD has remote control and teletext in each.
• The interiors include natural materials such as slate and oak floors and wool rugs.
• The private garden with table and chairs is set in the old orchard approached by a paved path with railings along one side, ten paved steps and 19 grassy steps.
• There are natural seasonal sounds such as lambs, birds and sometimes tractors and the sounds of a working farm.
• There is no passing traffic.

• From the parking space there is a flat paved path leading to the main entrance.
• There is a private paved garden with table and chairs accessed directly by patio doors from the living room. (It is possible to use the patio doors to enter by crossing the level paved garden, but there is a slope before entering the garden gate.)
• There are cottage flowers and herbs in the garden
• All rooms are on one level.
• All light switches at 1200mm.
• Sockets at 500mm and 1100mm.
• All doors are at least 800mm width and the internal doors of oak contrast with the white walls.
• There is a walk in shower.
